Analyze and Start Again

This week we have been working on analyzing posts and statistics to see where we can improve 2 The Sunny Sides social media accounts. We've started to figure out a good posting time, most days they get a lot of engagement around 9am. This is a helpful strategy when trying to keep to a schedule. I've been posting for them the past two weeks and we are going to have them start to post a little bit this week. In our meeting we've been discussing new Instagram features that they are confused about as well as how to maximize their effectiveness.  Its been exciting to learn more about their company and community, its something I didn't know very much about and I've been enjoying talking to my mentor Zack about how to use the skills I've learned to help build their engagement and their followers. They are currently gaining about 5-8 followers a day which was a 5% growth since before I started helping them! Its very exciting. We are currently working on how to get more...

And So It Begins...

I've begun my posting schedule for 2 The Sunny Side! They are sending me content and ideas of what they want. I was on a business trip this week so we didn't get to meet in person but we've been chatting over the phone and figuring out what we can do to best bring to life their vision. I've also been chatting over the phone with my mentor, Zack. He has given a lot of great tips, especially when it comes to hashtags which we've been using to build engagement and followers. I'm glad its been working so well! There are a lot of different ways we can build engagement and we are working away at it, a little at a time. This is helpful so that we can accomplish the goals we made at the beginning of the semester.

A New Project!

Today I started a new project for a lovely company called 2 The Sunny Side. They are working on growing their brand and company and would like some help to build their following and engagement. I'm excited to use my skills to do this and to grow along the way.  This week I started by making a schedule for them to follow. I'm going to start following it this week and take careful notes on what works and what doesn't work on their platform. This posting schedule should keep me on track for how and what I'm supposed to do to help them. I've chosen the best times I can come up with to post and to interact with their followers online using Instagram.  We met for about an hour today to discuss what content they want shown on their page and what they've been doing so far. Hopefully I can help them out to feel less overwhelmed when it comes to their social media sites.
